Message from the Chairman"We were delighted with the response. The World Free Zone Convention lived up to its expectations and more. It was a truly global meeting and the 200 or so delegates who attended left inspired and invigorated with a notebook full of new contacts and ideas. We should like to extend publicly a warm thank you to all our speakers and workshop leaders who put a great deal of effort into their presentations. We must also say a special word of thanks to our sponsors and exhibitors. From the excellent start with a very positive contribution from Dr. Supachai Panitchpakdi to the final impressive round up of international tax issues the speakers and their topics aroused considerable debate and questions from the floor. No-one attending the meeting was left in any doubt that the Free Zones community will benefit from an Annual impartial discussion forum of this kind. We are very grateful to those 2001 participants who have returned the Questionnaire sent out after the event. The responses have helped us to plan for the future. We look forward to seeing you in 2002!” Graham Mather President, European Policy Forum |
