OPTIONAL WORKSHOPS Tuesday 4th June afternoon pre- Conference Workshop (optional) *Local, Government or International Support - Making the Proposal* Friday 7^th June Full Day Workshop (optional) *Strategic Investment Promotion & Marketing Development*	The Conference and Exhibition opened in central London on Wednesday 5^th June and ran through Thursday 6^th. Two exciting new Workshops were presented in 2002. Some of the delegates came alone but, in many cases, chose to come with colleagues or to bring government representatives, such as Revenue and Customs Officials from their country or region. The weekend of the 1^st/2^nd/3^rd June marked the Golden Jubilee of H.M. The Queen and there were many celebratory events taking place over this period.
