Graham Mather, Chairman of WFZC, invites previous participants and new delegates to the 8th WORLD FREE ZONE CONVENTION which will be held at The Francis Marion Hotel in the historic centre of Charleston www.thefrancismarion.com

Announcing the decision to choose Charleston Mr. Mather said: "The choice of Charleston will bring us to another port city with a long history. Charleston is a unique Southeast destination with charm and Southern grace. Beautifully appointed mansions, private gardens, historic landmarks, quaint shops and restaurants to suit every taste are scattered throughout the entire downtown area of Charleston where the event will be held later this year.

The first of the surveys mentioned below rank Charleston the fourth best overall city in America, behind only New York, San Francisco and Chicago. The second has it ranked as a top arts destination, and the third link is to a CNN story about Charleston being ranked as the best-mannered city in the US. You can be assured of a warm welcome."
